NY Ink is an American reality-television series first aired on the cable-television channel TLC. It follows the events of famed tattoo artist Ami James and his brand new shop, the Wooster St. Social Club tattoo studio in New York City, New York. The series premiered on June 2, 2011 with new episodes airing every Thursday at 10PM EST. TLC has renewed spinoff series NY Ink for a 10-episode second season to premiere in December. The show's freshman season averaged 1.3 million viewers.

After Miami Ink (2005–2008) ended, Ami moved to New York City in 2011 to fulfill his dream of opening a "legal tattoo shop" which he names the Wooster St. Social Club. James is joined again by producers David Roma and Charlie Corwin to detail the proceedings in the shop on NY Ink.
The series intro is narrated by Ami James:
